This is a leading House Builder specialising in new build development projects that are committed to delivering high-quality, innovative, and sustainable residential communities. This is a financially strong privately owned business heading into its 10th year with exciting growth plans.

Role:

The requirement is for an Architectural Technician to join this dynamic design team, ideally you will be embarking on your career with a few years of solid experience under your belt.

You should have experience of housing design as you will play a key role in designing future developments up to 400 houses with the support of more senior members of the design team, from initial layouts to full construction details and coordination of all design information to enable construction.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Experience of designing house types and layouts for housing developments.
• Experienced in construction detailing and producing technical design solutions.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, knowledge of Revit would be useful but not essential.
• Working with external design consultants and coordinating design information.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations
• Knowledge of UK Planning
• Knowledge of NHBC

Qualifications:

• Degree or HNC/D in Architectural Technology or Construction.
